Buckner is a folk artist known for his poetic lyrics and swirling melodies. His
song "Ariel Ramirez" was featured in an ad for the Volkswagen Toureg.
Currently, Buckner is scoring his first feature film, Dream Boy, based on the book by Jim Grimsley. The film is
being directed by indie filmmaker James Burton (The Graffiti Artist) and is scheduled for release this fall. Buckner
will embark on a US tour this summer.
