This expansion adds a New York office to EPS's list of
locations, which also includes Santa Monica, CA, and Baton Rogue, LA.
"There's a great synergy between Hula Post and EPS," says
EPS's Pincus. "EPS is in the business of rentals and workflow design for the
feature film, dramatic and reality television markets. Buying into Hula Post
was a strategic way to increase its growth and expand into other areas."
Hula is helmed by CEO Denine James-Nio and has plans to
offer both online services and editing suites in the future.
EPS and Hula Post Production are located in Studio City and
will operate as separate companies but will work together to serve the post
production rental and technical needs of the studios, networks and independent
production companies.
