FILMLOOK CHANGES NAME, EXPANDS SERVICES

The process requires no lab processing, dailies or telecine transfers, therefore helping to save on budget and offer an alternative to film acquisition. The Filmlook process was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for outstanding achievement in engineering development.

The original Filmlook technology will continue to serve as a core operation for the newly-expanded company, which now provides HD nonlinear editing, color correction, DVD authoring, compositing and 5.1 audio post, including Foley, voiceover recording and sweetening. The facility also offers closed captioning and subtitling services.

Robert Faber, inventor of the Filmlook process, will continue to serve as CEO of the company and will supervise its technical, financial and engineering operations. Vice President Anna Cordova will continue in her role as head of client services and marketing.
