In addition to classical animation courses, the curriculum
includes drawing classes, a year of cartooning, character design, a sequence of
visual language, storytelling & storyboarding courses, background painting,
and background design. In year three, computer courses are introduced and will
now include Toon Boom's (www.toonboom.com) professional products.
Storyboard Pro allows users to create professional
storyboards, as well as generate realtime animatics, and efficiently manage
pre-production. The tool can be integrated into the production pipeline.
Digital Pro uses vector technology for content creation,
realtime animation and compositing, all set in a multi-plane 3D space
environment. The application includes productivity tools for palette
management, lip-sync, morphing and inverse kinematics.
