An AVI-Wrapper and Pegasys TMPGEnc plug-in allow SpeedEdit
projects to be used within external applications without any rendering to
intermediate files. Microsoft Windows Media Video 11 file writing has been upgraded
to support VBR and multi-pass encoding. New video effects have also been added.
This latest release also sees improvements in both rendering
quality and speed for high definition projects. Targa sequence support has been
enhanced and responsiveness on operations such as transport control and marker
insertion has been improved.
The new version is priced at $495 and is available as a free
upgrade to current SpeedEdit owners.
