POSTING GUINNESS'S EFFECTS-HEAVY 'MUSIC MACHINE'

Music Machine illustrates what might be taking place inside a pint of Guinness. Bubbles are represented by futuristic men, who are shot out of cannons and land on drum heads. As they fly through the air, they strike steel wires, creating guitar chords. The activity from the thousands of bubble men creates a modern soundtrack. As a Guinness drinker reaches for his pint, the voiceover fittingly states, "It's alive inside."

London's The Mill provided visual effects for the commercial, including 3D animation and compositing. The studio used Autodesk Flame and Smoke, along with Apple's Shake and Final Cut Pro. Seamus O'Kane handled telecine work.

The commercial will air in the US, Europe and Japan.
