Prior to joining Red Car, the von Bjals (pictured) were at the design
house Somersault, which is part of Avenue Edit, Chicago. Robert began his
career as a designer/director at production company H Gun, and later moved onto
the now-defunct Chicago design studio Bazooka. It was there he met Melissa and
the two began their creative collaboration.
The New York office continues to grow too, and recently
added designer Chris Bialkowski to its roster of talent.
Bialkowski spent three years at Mad Monkey in Columbia, SC.
