Helmintoller began his career as a clothing designer for
action sports companies such as Quicksilver, Bum, and the Hard Rock Café. As a freelance interactive and
advertising designer over the last ten years, his work has included DVD menu and
package design, TV spot animation and illustration for DVD releases, including Little
Shop of Horrors, House on Haunted Hill and The
Perfect Storm. His TV spot work includes
concept and design on commercials for Spider-Man, XXX, The Contender,
The Pianist, and DirecTV.
Since joining S4 he has worked on a Chiller
Network project for NBC Universal, as well as on the relaunch of the studio's Website
(www.s4studios.com).
