TEAM CREATES 'DIANA' PROMO FOR TLC

Team senior editor Ian Rummer and TLC producer Jennifer Pennybacker drew on a moody remake of David Bowie's "Modern Love" track to serve as the backdrop for the :60 and :30 versions, which feature imagery mapped onto the tunnel walls that represent her life-ending car crash.

TLC went on location and shot footage of the tunnel where the crash occurred, using variable light, over-cranking and under-cranking techniques notes Rummer.

The subtle yet powerful graphics were created by Team's broadcast and multimedia design boutique, Spirit Creative, and are being used on TLC's online presence as well.

James Crothers, motion graphic designer for Spirit Creative, used soft flowing animated text to create the "elegant and epic" look TLC desired.

All editing, color correction, footage treatment, and compositing was performed using Quantel's eQ. Type design and motion graphics were designed and animated using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects running on a 3GHz Intel Dual Core Mac Pro.
