The room features a 14-foot-wide screen and comfortable
seating for around 25. The studio sees the screening room as a resource for
viewing production dailies, rough cuts, industry previews, private screenings
and color correction. The DR Group's
routing system enables the transfer of content from any of the facility's Final
Cut Pro editing rooms directly to the preview room, alleviating any need for
physical media transfer.
The room is outfitted with a Barco DP90 2K digital cinema
projector capable of projecting 4:4:4, 4:2:2, HD or SD video. Twelve JBL
speakers are set up in a 7.1 surround configuration. The room's flat-black color
scheme also provides an ideal setting for color correction.
