VISUAL EFFECTS SOCIETY ANNOUNCES AWARDS PRESENTERS

Muren broke into the visual effects industry on Lucas's Star Wars (1977), has eight
Oscars for best achievement in visual effects, and is the creative force at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).

Other key presenters are set to include directors Michael Bay (Pearl Harbor, Armageddon) and Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life), and cinematographer Dean Semler (Apocalypto, Bruce
Almighty). Actors Masi Oka, an ILM software guru who also stars in the NBC series Heroes, and Gerard Butler, star of the upcoming feature film 300, will also be among this year's presenters.
