WOMEN IN FILM TO HONOR MUSIC EDITOR SUZANA PERIC

Among this year's recipients will be music editor Suzana Peric, who has been active in post production since 1981. Peric has served as music editor on over 75 films, including The Illusionist, The Manchurian Candidate, Closer, Everything Is Illuminated, The Pianist, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Beloved, Primary Colors, Crash, Prelude to a Kiss, The Silence of the, Lambs, Married to the Mob and Philadelphia. She received a Golden Reel Award for her work on Lord of the Rings in 2002.   

"Suzana Peric is one of the most talented and highly respected music editors working today," notes Terry Lawler, executive director of NYWIFT. "She is known for her daring and unexpected musical choices, and for successful ongoing collaborations with some of the most innovative directors in New York. Suzana has been a member of New York Women in Film & Television for more than 15 years and we are delighted to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of one of our own. "
