AL DINOBLE HEADING UP NEW BUSINESS AT RENEGADE

He will work to grow Renegade’s film and television businesses, as well as create opportunities for the studio in new markets, including location-based entertainment and new media. DiNoble will also seek to develop third party business relationships for the production and distribution of original animated content.

Renegade has plans to expand its role as an original content creator. The company has produced several animated television series for Cartoon Network, including the upcoming Mr. Men and Little Misses and also recently produced its first full-length animated feature, Christmas Is Here Again! That experience has enabled it to build a pool of talent and resources that can be applied to a variety of media. The studio has also developed a proprietary cross platform digital animation process that has enabled it to lower the cost of producing high-quality animation.

DiNoble has served as a sales and marketing consultant to companies in various segments of the entertainment industry, including visual effects house Zoic Studios and D-Box, a maker of motion-based seats for theatrical presentations. He spent six years as a sales, marketing and new business consultant to software developer Cynergy. For three years, he served as executive VP for worldwide marketing and communications at Eastman Kodak’s Cinesite. His career also includes eight years at MetroLight Studios, where he was VP of marketing, sales and business development, and later as general manager. Additional stints include time with Pacific Data Images and Boss Film Studios. He began his career with Robert Abel & Associates.
