'BOOT CAMP' TO REVEAL TIPS FOR ASPIRING FILMMAKERS
January 4, 2008
The event costs $395 and will take place in NYC from Friday, March 7th to Sunday, March 9th. Topics such as producing, financing, filmmaking, and content creation will all be covered, and issues addressing ”how the business is changing,” “strategies you can use to succeed,” “career opportunities in the new media,” and “secrets to pitching your ideas” will also be discussed.

Nehst Studios chairman/founder Larry Meistrich is offering local aspiring filmmakers and writers a chance to pitch their project ideas for potential development and distribution through PitchNehst.
Meistrich founded indie film studio Shooting Gallery and is the award-winning producer of Sling Blade, Belly, You Can Count on Me, and Croupier.

"We are working hard to help break down the Hollywood barriers and make sure other talented, aspiring filmmakers can take part in the industry as well," says Meistrich.
