BULLY PICTURES LIGHTENS UP FOR CORNINGWARE

In the spot, guests at a dinner party find themselves lightly floating around the table, enjoying their evening. The cookware also is seen floating, and the host gets a chuckle out of her lighter-than air dishes, which just won't stay on the table.

Fredrik Callinggard served as director/cameraman on the spot, which combines live action and CG. Live action was shot in front of a greenscreen, at 4K using a Red camera. Actors were rigged to wire harnesses and were shot solo and in pairs. The set was also photographed from all possible angles, and was then rebuilt with SynthEyes 3D camera mapping software. Most of the other objects were built and shaded by hand.

The shoot took place in Montevideo, Uruguay, in a restored 18th century building. Editor Rikke Selin of Rikke Films in Copenhagen handled the edit using Final Cut Pro. After the offline was approved, final animation, effects and compositing was done by Copenhagen's Gimmick, using Maya 2008 and XSI 3D animation software and Autodesk Flame 2008. Nylon Studios in New York provided the music.
