CG/VFX STUDIO SPEAKEASYFX MOVES INTO NEW SPACE

The SpeakeasyFX team is working with Sesame Street on a new segment and is busy designing assets for a 3D episodes that will air next November, coinciding with the program’s 40th anniversary. The studio is also currently working on a number of commercial projects, including jobs for Duracell, Crest, Buick, Revlon and Cesar. 

SpeakeasyFX has 15 licenses of Softimage|XSI, along with Adobe’s After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere applications. The studio also has Apple’s Final Cut Pro for editing, a 6TB array, a 128-processor renderfarm with 256GBs of RAM, and the Tactic asset management system from Southpaw Tech. The open bullpen layout allows for collaboration between artists and their 20 workstations.
