FILM ROMAN PROMOTES FUKUTO TO HEAD OF STUDIO
Most recently head of production, Fukuto will now oversee all of Film Roman's animation production operations for television series, feature films, home entertainment, commercials and visual effects.
Film Roman is currently producing Starz Media's animated feature Dead Space: Downfall, a prequel to the Electronic Arts video game Dead Space, as well as Fox's The Simpsons and King of the Hill; ABC's mid-season series The Goode Family; Marvel Animation's Marvel Superhero Squad; and Starz Media's children's program Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! on Nick, Jr.
Fukuto joined Film Roman in 2006. He was previously vice president, entertainment, of MGA Entertainment in Los Angeles, where he served as the executive in charge of the popular Bratz and Alien Racers series. Before that, he worked at Walt Disney Television Animation, playing a central role in such series as Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch: The Animated Series, and a number of others.
Fukuto also held creative and managerial roles at Netter Digital Entertainment and MGM Animation.
