GLOBALSTOR TO SHOW RED WORKFLOW SOLUTION AT NAB The ExtremeStor-DI REDe features Dual Quad core processors that are optimized for uncompressing and playing back Red camera footage as a high-resolution 2K images in realtime at 24 frames per second. The solution is available in a 24-drive/5U solution that offers 24TB of storage or in a 10-drive tower with up to 10TB of storage. It also includes the Nvidia Quadro FX 4600/5600 by PNY professional graphics board.

According to Globalstor president Scott Leif, the ExtremeStor-DI REDe, when equipped with Assimilate’s Scratch software, allows producers and directors to view what was captured as well as apply color grades directly to the footage and make adjustments at will, all at 24 frames per second.

Prices for the ExtremeStor-DI REDe start at $17,042 for the 10-drive tower with a base capacity of 2.5TB.
