OUTSIDE ADDS EDITOR/COLORIST ALEX BICKEL
Bickel got his start as a writer's assistant for Comedy Central’s Stella. He continued to work with Stella
producer Jerry Kupfer for a year, before moving on to consulting,
working closely with the Apple Pro Apps group as a Final Cut
technician. It was during this period that he turned his interest to
the finishing process, beginning with the Sundance Festival Dailies
news show for the Sundance Channel. This lead to a short tenure at the
Sundance Channel in New York where he produced, edited and handled
color work for a series of spots re-branding DocDay, Sundance Channel's
weekly destination for documentary films.
He has also spent a few years freelancing as well as working with
Berwyn Editorial. Since joining Outside, Bickel has completed work on a
project for Jaguar.
