SAE OPENS INSTITUTION IN SOUTH AFRICA
July 14, 2008
The first semester for Audio Engineering, Digital Animation, and Multimedia and Web Development begins this month. SAE Cape Town is also set to offer their Film diploma in 2009 for students looking to enter South Africa's dynamic film industry.

"Cape Town, as a cosmopolitan, world famous city, is clearly the most logical entry point for SAE into the African market," says Pier Paolo Merlo, SAE Cape Town's business development manager. "A truly unique institution with a formidable global reputation, SAE Institute is set to boost South Africa's creative industries whilst providing pioneering technology for the country's students. With their commitment to world-class technology and a practical, hands-on curriculum, the opening of this world-class academy should be a key milestone in South Africa's creative evolution."

SAE founder Tom Misner opened the first SAE Institute 30 years ago. Today, the institution spans nearly 50 colleges in 20 countries.
