SCORING TEAM COMPLETES INDIE FILM 'NOIR'

Knight requested a classic score but with a modern sound palette. It was his desire to distinguish the film's sound from the common transistor radio tone that is so prevalent in films of that era.

The team used orchestral sample libraries to build a sound palette, and an Altec 438C compressor to refine the sound. Multiple Mac G5s were used to power the Kontakt samplers, which ran at 24-bit/96kHz sample rates.
