SUPER BOWL: THE FAMOUS GROUP RETURNS TO TITLE GAME

WATCH THE VIDEO

This year TFG created over 200 deliverables, including Patriots/Giants headshots, replays, logos, backgrounds, bumpers and prompts. All were custom designed for multiple jumbotron and ribbon panel sizes inside and out of the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The overall look and feel of the package was developed using the concept of a tournament bracket narrowing down the field to a single team. Reflective surfaces for textures and dynamic transitions provide additional linking visual themes. The NFL’s tag "Who Wants It More?" was also present in many of the looks and played a major role in the game’s countdown video.

The studio was challenged with creating similar graphics for a number of different displays, including 16x9, 4x1 and 4000 x 40 pixel areas.  The countdown video was particularly challenging. TFG created a staggered effect on each board and timed them to light up at various points around the stadium. Numbers and footage culminate in a barrage of effects with Giants vs. Patriots imagery settling at the end.

Along with this being TFG's third consecutive year providing graphics for the Super Bowl, the company also completed a season-long campaign in which they provided custom animations for all 32 NFL teams.
