TASCAM UPGRADES FLAGSHIP PORTASTUDIO
The model is the flagship in TASCAM's Digital Portastudio line. The 80GB hard drive allows users to record several hours of 44.1kHz/24-bit material. Four of the eight microphone inputs are XLRs with phantom power. Effects include reverb, guitar amp simulation, and nine compressors.
New mastering effects include multi-band EQ, compression and limiting. Recordings can be burned to an internal CD drive or transferred to a computer through the USB 2.0 jack. The unit has an MSRP of $1,199.
