TOON BOOM IMPROVES 3D CAPABILITIES
The new technology enables users to work in a true 3D space, import and manipulate 3D objects, combine them with 2D elements and animate them in realtime. The optional module widens the Toon Boom Harmony and Digital Pro feature sets, providing a fully integrated single production environment.
Users can now move and rotate any 2D plane three dimensionally. They can import and manipulate 3D objects in Harmony and Digital Pro, and render while controlling third party 3D renders directly within Toon Boom's integrated pipeline.
Functionality also includes the ability to assemble and rig 3D objects within Harmony and Digital Pro, the ability to display 2D/3D object intersections in realtime, and the ability to combine 2D characters with 3D props and backgrounds.
