YESSIAN CREATES SOUNDTRACK FOR UNILEVER'S LATEST
The spot centers around a young man who’s getting dressed for a
business meeting. A robotic arm sprays the deodorant onto his armpit,
while a computerized voice announces: “Meeting in five minutes.” While
rushing through street traffic, a vicious robotic dog starts to chase
him. He manages to escape with the help of a jet pack, only to be
confronted by a digital security guard in the parking lot. He escapes
the alarm and makes it to the meeting on time and sweat-free, proving
that the new Rexona Men Absolute deodorant is working. The spot
premiered in Europe.
Matthjis van Heijninen directed the commercial for MJZ and The Mill/Los
Angeles created its film-level effects. Editing was performed by Joe
Guest at Final Cut.
Yessian/Detroit’s Jeff Dittenber created sound design for the project
and Dan Zank of Yessian/NY handled the original music. The spot was
mixed by Peter Holcomb at Sound Lounge.
