'BIG FAN' COLOR CORRECTED AT MEGA PLAYGROUND

Big Fan screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and recently received color correction for its national release at Mega Playground in New York City. There, colorist Mike Smollin worked on the feature in the facility's Nucoda DI suite.

Mega Playground initially conformed the 90-minute feature at one-quarter resolution to matched it against the offline reference, then, the studio bumped it up to full premium 2K size, rendering DPX files. It was printed by next-door neighbor, Technicolor.
