BLIND HELPS SCI FI LAUNCH NEW LOOK

All of the spots have a simple, white palette and smoothly textured characters. In the :15 Horse, an animated horse grazes and gallops, before jumping up on its rear legs and sprouting jet engines, allowing it to blast off. Windmill follows a similar concept, with plants on a farm landscape that grow into wind turbines.

In all of the animations, the old Sci Fi logo is blown away, bringing forth text that states: "Imagine Greater." The new Syfy logo follows to close the spot.

Other IDs in the campaign include Castle, in which a Winnebago transforms into a castle, and Lions, featuring an animal that turns into megaphones.

Blind creative director Richard Eng led the team, which created all four IDs in just four weeks. The team used a combination of Maya, Softimage|XSI, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator to create the IDs.
