BONFIRE OPENS OFFERING MOTION DESIGN SERVICES

Julia Sonder-Patchin will oversee Bonfire as executive producer, a promotion from her previous role as producer. She will spearhead new business development and oversee day-to-day operations. Matt Silverman and editor/storyteller Bob Frisk will serve as co-creative directors.

"We are finding more and more that our clients want the collaboration of creative editorial storytelling and motion picture design that can work as content across any screen," says Sonder-Patchin.

The launch marks the second incarnation of Bonfire - it was first opened in 2002 and later folded into Phoenix Editorial. The new shop will share space with the Phoenix Editorial team at 190 Pacific Avenue in San Francisco.

Bonfire is home to 12 Apple Mac Pros with Decklink HD Pro and HD Extreme I/O, running Final Cut Studio, Adobe CS4, Autodesk Maya and Maxon Cinema4D. The studio also has an Autodesk Smoke 2K system and one Autodesk Flame.

Since opening, Bonfire has created content for two interactive feature film Websites in collaboration with San Francisco's 4th Wall Studios.
