BRICKYARD CONTRIBUTES TO 'THE PROPOSAL', BUILDS FILM TEAM
The year-old company has also added a new partner - film industry veteran Marc Sadeghi (pictured), who was formerly executive VP at The Orphanage. While there, he helped architect the studio's feature film effects division, forging successful relationships with major studios that included Paramount, Warner Bros., Universal, Revolution, Sony, Miramax and New Line. During his tenure at The Orphanage, Sadeghi oversaw visual effects production on films such as Iron Man, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, Die Hard 4, Superman Returns, and Aeon Flux, among numerous others. He also held an executive post at Orphanage Animation Studios.
Prior to his eight years at The Orphanage, Sadeghi worked in the CG animation division at Wild Brain. He got his start in VFX and production at Industrial Light & Magic, and prior to that, at Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope.
Brickyard Filmworks has also hired VFX supervisor Sean Devereaux, who's career includes time with Motion Theory and Digital Domain. Devereaux brings with him over 10 years of VFX experience on films and commercial projects.
