E*TRADE BABIES TALK FINANCES
The HD spot initially aired on ABC in May, and was also cut down to two :60 versions for theatres and the Web. In the commercial, Hobson is dialing up the E*Trade babies, who explain to her the complexities of stocks and bonds in the simplest of terms.
Click 3X handled casting, the live-action shoot and VFX for the project, all within a three-week schedule. John Budion served as lead Flame/VFX artist on the job, and was aided by veteran lead Flame/VFX artist Mark Szumski, and Flame artist Sophia Avgousti.
The baby footage was picked up from past greenscreen shoots. The babies' mouths were actually newly-shot footage of six-year old, captured at Click 3X and later composited with the infant footage. ABC provided footage of Hobson.
Grey's Alex Cohan cut the project and Dante Desole mixed it.
