GEFEN SOLUTION EXTENDS DVI SIGNAL
Lower resolutions can be extended over the same system up to 6,600 feet (2km), making it suitable for broadcasters and system integrators that must access computers stored in centralized machine rooms. RS-232 allows for remote control capabilities that can be integrated with other A/V systems.
The Gefen DVI-1600HD operates through sender and receiver units, connected to the computer and the extended display. Four-strand fiber optics cabling links local and remote locations, delivering video, audio and control signals in an instant transmission. When using HDMI, the 1600HD delivers 1080p full HD with digital/analog audio and RS-232 control. HDCP compliance guarantees this system will work with today’s HDTV sources, including Blu-ray players and gaming systems. Both sender and receiver units are powered by a 12v power supply.
