GOI NAMED PRESIDENT OF A.S.C.

Goi is a Chicago native who studied filmmaking at Columbia College in Chicago. He began shooting PBS documentaries while he was still in college and after graduation in 1980, shot local commercials and documentaries. Goi earned his first narrative film credit for Moonstalker in 1987. He received ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards nominations for the telefilms The Fixer (1999) and Judas (2005). Last year, he garnered an Emmy nomination for an episode of My Name is Earl.
 
In addition to his ASC membership, Goi is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts And Sciences.
