GRASS VALLEY DEBUTS AFFORDABLE HD CAMERA
On the editing front, Grass Valley has improved HD editing efficiency for its Edius application. V.5.1 includes tighter integration with the company’s Aurora digital production workflow. The company has also introduced the Edius XRE external render engine/conform server that helps make shared storage editing environments more productive. Users working in a Grass Valley K2 SAN environment with the company’s Aurora 7.0 and Edius 5.1 tools will benefit.
On the prosumer side, Grass Valley is showing Edius Neo 2, an editing application that’s been enhanced with a wider toolset and an array of Blu-ray high definition disc production capabilities.
