LIGHTWORKS OFFERS TWO NEW NONLINEAR EDITORS

Alacrity II replaces the Alacrity MR+ is designed for both offline and online editing. Both models in the Alacrity II line are based on Dual Xeon Quad core motherboards. Alacrity II RM is built in a 4RU "Geevs Style" chassis, with space for up to six removable hard drives. Alacrity II HP is built on the HP xw8600 workstation with internal space for up to four hard drives. Alacrity II RM is being introduced at a lower price than the previous Alacrity MR+.

The V.1.3 release allows for realtime mixed format editing and true native support for AVI, MXF, QuickTime, DPX and Red files. HDV, XDCAM and P2 are also supported, and for interchange, OMF, AAF, and DPX sequences are supported.
