LUXOLOGY BRINGS MODO 401 ROADSHOW TO UK

The event will be held at The Moving Picture Company in Soho, from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Andy Brown, Luxology’s training division manager, will present the product, using fellow sponsor Wacom’s new Intuos tablet. Also speaking will be freelance artist Robin Konieczny, whose skills have been tapped for The Gorillas’ music video, and for The BBC and Discovery Channel. On the long-form side, Konieczny has contributed to the features The Da Vinci Code, 10,000 BC, Hellboy 2 and Angels and Demons, as well as to HBO's Rome.

Simon Hodgkiss, director and producer of SPHdigital Ltd., will preview his use of Modo 401 in a multi-application pipeline for the upcoming pilot, The Adventures of Raz Benny. And Stuart Rowbottom, a Modo 401 beta tester and freelance 3D artist with experience at The Senate VFX, Framestore and Passion Pictures, will also be on hand.
