PACIFIC TITLE TO UNDERGO MAJOR AUTODESK UPGRADE
The studio is investing $750K on an infrastructure and system upgrade, as well as on a three-year subscription program from Autodesk Media & Entertainment. The plan will upgrade the studio’s Lustre 2009 Incinerator, Inferno and Smoke workstations to the latest hardware.
The hardware and software upgrades will help lower operating costs at Pacific Title by reducing render times and increasing reliability. The new gear will also require less space, power usage and cooling needs.
