The new family taps into the performance of the next-generation Intel Nehalem micro-architecture and extreme graphics processing capabilities of the Nvidia Quadro 8-series of GPUs. The Genesis line also incorporates Asetek liquid cooling systems, which are extremely quiet. These PCs are suitable for use with applications that include Avid NLEs, Premiere CS4, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Maya, Pro Tools, Cubase, Photoshop and others. Additionally, the chassis design strategically places commonly-used ports, such as FireWire, USB and eSATA, in the front panel, making them easy to access by media artists.
Prices start at $1,790 and customers can configure and order a system online.
