SGO'S MISTIKA GAINS TRACTION IN MEXICO

Mexican post facility Ome-G Productions purchased a Mistika system, adding to its existing services. The studio’s managing director, Gustavo Simental notes, “It is extremely time efficient to have color correction, compositing and editing tools all in one system. For that reason, I consider that SGO Mistika is not a luxury, but a necessity for a post production facility."

Mexican university Tecnologico de Monterrey is offering training courses for future visual effects artists on its system. The virtual university has 10 educational licenses, allowing it to offer students high-end training in compositing, editing, color grading, and restoration, working in 2K in realtime. The university is made up of more than 30 campuses and headquarters all around Mexico.
