STEELE STUDIOS EMPLOYS PABLO IN RED WORKFLOW

The campaign consists of 12 spots and was directed by Sean Hanish of Cannonball Productions. It was shot entirely with a Red One camera at 4K resolution. Using Pablo, Steele color corrected and resized approximately six hours of .r3d files on import, saving the client several hours of conversion time.

"Our Pablo's superb Dynamic Rounding and sizing technology can be used to finish 4K-originated projects at any resolution from SD to 4K at a much faster pace than most systems out there," notes creative director Jerry Steele. "We were able to not only view, scrub and trim the .r3d files off the drives, but also resize and adjust all of the parameters that were on the camera before and during the import process. This saved us countless hours of scaling and color correction that would normally have to be done after the import."

Quantel recently introduced complete integration of Final Cut Pro, allowing projects to move seamlessly between offline and online.
