TEAM CREATES 'EXPEDITION AFRICA' PROMOS FOR HISTORY

The program looks at a team of explorers' journey through Africa as they try to retrace the  1871 expedition by journalist Henry Morton Stanley, who set out to find missing missionary David Livingston.

Ultimately, Team delivered 19 creatives, reaching several markets across various media outlets, including theatrical :30 and two-and-a-half minute trailers. There was also a :60 spot taken from concept to delivery in 24 hours to satisfy a last minute multi-network media buy.

Team's goal was to create a campaign that showcased the hardship, misery, and beauty encountered on the quest. Source material was made up of many standards, formats, and frame rates, including Red, 35mm, HDCAM, DVCPRO HD, QuickTimes, and stills.

The studio used Avid Media Composer, Avid DS, After Effects and Pro Tools to complete the job. Team credits included creative director Adam Corey, senior editors Thuy Dinh and Ian Rummer, editors  Kelly Tyler and Adam Kanner, sound designer/mixer Jeff Mullen, and designers James Crothers and Dave Glanz.
