WARNER BROS. CONTINUES UPGRADES, OPENS TWO ROOMS

ADR 2 is unique in that it has a spacious talent green room adjacent to the recording environment. Stage 12 features AMS Neve DFC and Digidesign ICON control surfaces. The stage also features console frame design that allows the mixing desk to be reconfigured and the console control surfaces to be rearranged to accommodate unique needs or mixing preferences. Stage 12 also has a kitchen area, as well as a producer’s lounge and edit suites.

The two rooms are just the first of several upgrades at WBPPS. This spring, the studio will unveil a new post sound facility, which is currently under construction. Back in 2005, WBPPS opened a 52,000-square-foot building, which includes two feature re-recording stages, an ADR stage, 12 sound editorial/design suites, and 12 DVD audio mastering suites, all equipped with Digidesign’s Pro Tools|HD.
