ARRISCAN DEVELOPERS TO BE HONORED BY ACADEMY

Cieslinski is credited with designing the sensor and serving as project manager for the scanner. Brauner developed the film transport, and Lenz developed the micro scanning feature. More than 100 Arriscans are in use worldwide. The unit has been used on the films The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and The Blind Side.
The developers of Arri’s Arrilaser film recorder were honored by the Academy back in 2002.
