sNow in its second season, the show shot for 42 days and used a rig outfitted with Iconix HD lipstick cameras, each of which was connected to a monitor, and two AJA Ki Pros with SSD flash memory drives, providing up to four hours of uninterrupted image capture.
For the first season, the production team shot on 33-minute DVC PROHD tapes, but soon realized the limitations of the tape format. Using the KiPro for storage, the team is able to quickly connect to a Final Cut Pro system, via FireWire, for editing.
