ESPN'S 'IVERSON' DOC MIXED AT VAGABOND

Audio for the project included interviews of more than two-dozen people, as well as a significant amount of archival material. Emily Hart produced the project, which aired on ESPN in mid-April

Weir says Vagabond is equipped with two Avid Pro Tools HD3 systems running on Mac G5 quad-core workstations. A D-Command console is used for mixing, and a Brauner Phantom C mic is used for narration recording, along with a John Hardy M1 preamp.

Sound effects for the feature were spotted using Sound Miner, which drew from stock and original libraries. Vagabond used TL Space, Waves EQ and Dynamics, Speaker Phone, and iZotope RX plug-ins.  Picture was played back via Avid Mojo hardware to 42-inch HD screen. The mix was monitored on Dynaudio Air 6 speakers in the studio’s John Storyk-designed suite.
