GMT HOSTING 'FINAL CUT SERVER LIVE!' TODAY
The event is taking place at GMT Studios today and will present a complete end-to-end workflow of a live Final Cut Server production — from the initial capture of footage, to rough assembly, producer and director approvals, and the final output to Web and DVD deliveries.
Final Cut Server is a digital asset management and workflow automation tool designed to help users organize files and simplify repetitive tasks. Final Cut Server Live! is taking place between 3pm and 8pm (PST) at GMT Studios (5751 Buckingham Pkwy). Luke Tristram, senior product manager for Apple’s Final Cut Server, and Jason Perr, senior systems engineer for MacHarmony will both be on hand.
