IRIDAS & 1 BEYOND SHOWING 'SAW 7 3D' SET UP
The 1 Beyond Dude is an all-in-one portable DDR for stereo recording and complements the SI2K 3D stereo camera system. The DDR records Cineform uncompressed or compressed RAW. The Dude provides SDI output for the SI2K cameras for monitoring with Iridas SpeedGrade.
FrameCycler DI 2010 features the DualStream NX toolset that automatically aligns the stereo eyes with the push of a button. In addition, DualStream NX matches colors between left/right eyes to eliminate hue and brightness shifts caused by mirror rigs. As a result, dailies can be comfortably viewed on stereo screens immediately after shooting with correctly aligned images.
While 3D dailies on set used to be difficult and expensive, FrameCycler DI with DualStream NX and the 1 Beyond Super Wrangler can be paired with any 3D monitor or stereo projector. Shots can be aligned and corrected instantly giving the production team immediate feedback.
