MOTU'S DIGITAL PERFORMER GETS NEW LOOK
DP users can choose from more than a dozen themes, and power-users can go in and tweak them further. Buttons, knobs, and other controls can look completely different in each theme. Since themes are stored as standard .png graphic files in the Mac OS X application support folder, there is no worry about affecting the application’s performance.
Preset themes include Carbon Fiber, Zen, Plasma and Producer. Four shades of DP's customary default look are also provided, from light to dark. Users can also fine-tune waveform display colors and the color of audio level meters to match their favorite theme.
Other new features in Version 7.2 include right-click menu access and live searching in list windows.
