NAB: CALDIGIT INTROS 3 HIGH PERFORMANCE STORAGE SOLUTIONS
April 14, 2010
Users can share storage over a fast PCIe-based network, roughly five times faster than traditional fibre SAN solutions. Its modular design allows access to 24 hot-swappable drive modules from the front. It also features three hot-swappable load bearing power supplies. The key to its speed is the direct connect external PCIe connection.

CalDigit’s SuperShare is an alternative to the traditional SAN. It’s based on direct connect PCIe technology and allows users to access a pool of shared storage simultaneously.

And the CalDigit AV Drive is a single drive system featuring a dual interface with USB 3.0 and FireWire 800 connectivity. The AV Drive is one of the first USB 3.0 devices for the Mac, and can reach speeds of over 140MB/s.
