NAB CONTENT THEATER TO INCLUDE 3D SESSIONS
“Alice in Wonderland: Turning Fantasy into Motion Picture Reality” will feature Art Repola, executive vice president of visual effects and production, The Walt Disney Studios; Ken Ralston, multi Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor for the film; Corey Turner, stereographer for the film; and Tom Peitzman, co-producer/visual effects producer for the film.
"ESPN: Scoring a Field Goal in S3D Sports" will include numerous executives, including Anthony Bailey, VP emerging technologies, ESPN; Phil Orlins, coordinating producer, ESPN X Games; Vince Pace, CEO/cinematographer, Pace; and Bob Toms, VP, production enhancements & interactive TV, ESPN.
Last fall, ESPN telecast of the Ohio State-USC football game in 3D. Beginning June 11, the network will launch North America's first all S3D sports television network, ESPN 3D, with the broadcast of the 2010 FIFA World Cup match.
