SIGGRAPH: GENARTS RELEASES SAPPHIRE 5 FOR NUKE & OFX PLATFORMS
Sapphire 5 is a suite of more than 200 VFX plug-ins that are designed to assist compositing artists. These include glow, blur, edge ray, defocus and texture tools. ("Zap" is shown) Full floating-point support provides the highest image quality and dynamic range possible, and GPU acceleration gives the artist interactive controls while fine-tuning shots.
Floating licenses for Nuke, Fusion and Toxik are priced at $2,499. Node-locked licenses are available for $1,699. Rental licenses are also now available for the first time at $169 per month. Current users may upgrade to Sapphire 5 for $599.
